Coronavirus
Below you will find our response to the current Covid-19 crisis affecting our island
We know this time of great uncertainty is having a huge impact on our lives, and we want to let you know we are doing all we can to help our customers through this difficult time.
Over the past few weeks we have been inundated with home delivery requests, sadly at this time we are not set up for home deliveries on a such a large scale. We do however supply all the fruit and vegetables for our friends at Valley Foods. At present we are currently making up to 100 home orders a day for them to deliver straight to your door.
We also wanted to make sure the most vulnerable people in our community were cared for, so we have put together a mixed box from our farm shop specifically designed for the people who have to self isolate or have underlying health issues and can’t leave the house. Each box will be packed with as much local produce as possible and ready to collect from our Farm Shop the day after ordering.
How it works - Simply order a community box from our website and collect it the next day from our Farm Shop. Unfortunately at this time we are unable to offer delivery.
Please note some items may change to bring you what's best on the day and in season.
The community box - £30
Local produce
Jersey Royals - Leeks - Onions - Cucumber - Maincrop potatoes - Tenderstem broccoli - Pumpkin slice - Red/white cabbage - Milk - Free range Eggs - flowers
Non local produce
Apples - Carrots - Pears - Bananas - Satsumas - Radish bunch
Stock will be limited to 30 a day and must be ordered 24 hours in advance to avoid disappointment.
What we are doing about Covid-19 as a business
We are continually monitoring the guidelines and advice provided by the Local and UK Government and are committed to making the right decisions for our customers and farmers.
Is the Farm shop and Wholesale open as usual? Yes. However, we have put in place some measures to help our shops meet the needs of our customers, particularly the elderly and vulnerable, at this time.
All equipment in the farm shop and warehouse, such as baskets, payment terminals, bag dispensers, scales and tills are cleaned daily and at every available opportunity. Hand sanitising wipes and gel have also been provided for our staff who do not always have easy access to hand-washing facilities, including our checkout and pick and pack team and all delivery drivers.
Have you changed the way orders are delivered during the outbreak of Covid-19? Yes, we have made some temporary changes in line with advice provided by the Jersey and UK government. To keep contact to a minimum, drivers will no longer enter businesses and simply alert the owner to the delivery or leave at a previously designated area.
